From the title, you can say that this year's Christmas holiday were a little unusual, instead of attending the usual family parties, Jac, the kids and I spent it for the most part at home with the flu.
But I can't say that it was less special than the previous years. In fact, you can say that it would probably be one of the more memorable ones...eating KFC original recipe chicken at the dinner table and opening the gifts Christmas eve, well at least some of them and then deciding to bring siobe (Rachel) to the hospital for a blood test, just to be sure that what she had wasn't dengue (thankfully it wasn't).
It made me realize that Christmas is special not because of where you spend it, but who you spend it with...for me it was with my family, with those who I love and those who I sometimes can't stand being with, but can't live without.
Merry Christmas!
