You know it wasn't until recently that I found out that getting enough sleep could add as much as 8 years to your life...yes, 8 years!
Before, I cam across this fact, one of the many things that I considered luxuries in life was sleep, but not anymore...I have made a commitment to get enough sleep during the week and not lump it all on weekends.
I had to ask myself, what was it that needed losing sleep over and the answer never amounted to much...something at work that needed to be done or a deadline that needed to be met or maybe because I was worried about something...again at work.
I've found that it was lack of planning that was the cause of that and in most cases could've been avoided.
Not only am I getting enough sleep nowadays, I am also able to spend more time with the family. For family LOVE is spelled T-I-M-E...especially for the kids, quality and quantity of time spent with them is important.
Hmmm....(sigh), I am hoping that next time I find myself lacking sleep, I will be remeinded of my blog today.
