200 and counting

Last Friday, we opened our 200th SEAOIL station in Cebu...it is a significant milestone in our company's history and a testament to the dedication and commitment of every member in the company (past and present) to excellence and winning.

As a steward of the business, I would like to take this time to dedicate the celebration of this milestone to God, who is the ultimate owner of this company and who has graciously given us the resources and opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. Going into the business required a leap of faith, that if you commit to pursue a dream with passion and integrity God will provide.

14 years ago, we decided to enter the retail oil industry by opening our 1st station with the passing of the Oil Deregulation Law, we dreamed of becoming the "Jollibee" of the Oil industry - a 100% Filipino franchisor that has global expertise and local market savvy, a company that can compete in a highly commoditized, highly competitive industry, where competitors are multinational giants and win.

I believe that we are living that dream, we opened our 50th station in 2001, our 100th station in 2005. Along the way, we have been recognized as a Hall of Fame Franchisor in 2008 and an industry pioneer especially in the field of Biofuels and an innovator with game changing products like PriceLock and Extreme97.

As we reach the 200 station mark, we solidify our role as a consumer advocate and the leading independent oil company in the country.

Where price was the only differentiator for the company in the beginning, today we are seeing the increased growth of gasoline as a percentage of sales and this tells us that more and more car owners are appreciating our dedication to delivering excellent products and services.

Our customer service experience is centered on our CARES promise, C - convenient, A - affordable, R - reliable, E - environment friendly and S - service oriented. We have a loyalty program, we accept credit cards and give customers cash back, we have a prepaid and post paid fleet program and we have CARES coaches at our stations that empower, encourage and inspire our team to delight customers.

While we take this time to pause and celebrate with customers, suppliers, franchisees and partners, we know that it is an on-going journey, our desire is to be a pillar of progress for the nation, to contribute to the transformation of the country, by fuelling a better tomorrow.
